Woohh! The Hongkong trip's fun! I dun wanna come back to Singapore one lol... I love being a civilian... Haha... And now i need to go back and protect my country...
4 days 3 nights is a little short actually... I feel that we have only explored a little part of HK only... We only went past 5 stops of their MTR lol... Even the shopping is not enough... Haha... The next time we go on holiday, we should go for more than a week so that it's more worthwhile since u got more time to really explore the place...
We stayed at the Kimberly Hotel which is pretty near the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR... And around us are streets and streets of shops that promised us endless shopping... HK is really mai dong xi, chi dong xi, mai dong xi, chi dong xi... On the first day, we had a hard time looking for Adam's halal food... And we kept following the map coz we were afraid of getting lost... In the end, Adam and I ate at this indian place which serve pretty spicy food... But the place is a little scary in the sense it's like Spore's Mustafa... As the days go by, we got used to the place and started to walk around freely, as if it's like Spore... Anyway, the city area resembles our Orchard Rd lo...
We joined a halfday city tour organised by our tour agency and they brought us to a dimsum restaurant for breakfast... That's where we met kakikukeko, a very funny boy who baby-talks when he could actually speak normal mandarin... And he keep posing wif his tissue paper and sunglasses... Haha... And he quickly hid behind his mum when Sab offered to bring him to the toilet... He's camera shy too, and will quickly wear his sunglasses and block the camera wif his tissue...Haha... We went to some mountain area where we could get a birds' eye view of HK, a very famous temple, herb shop? and got a ride on the sampans... Super fun... And the photographer took some photos for us which cost a bomb! Not really a bomb la, like HK$230... It's crazy... Haha... After that, it's free and easy again, and we went to Ladies' Street and Temple Street... There's super lotsa stuff to buy, except that the stalltenders tend to be a little too forceful, like keep pestering u to buy stuff once u look at one of their items... At Temple Street, we were surrounded by PORN! It's madness... The amount of porn they have is crazy... And some are really old, like 1980s kinda porn... Yucks...
On the third day, we went to OceanPark! We went to the other entrance, so we actually missed the cable car, which is a waste... We went to try the rides, like the roller coaster... Then they have the Dragonride or something, which they say it's the longest ride in HK... It had 3 loops in between the tracks, which looked rather itimidating... Sab and Mich tried it out first... Wah, they r super brave sia, salute them for that... Then after tat, Mich say it's nothing compared to the first ride, so Adam and i tried it out... Then we coax WeiNi to go for it too, so i went wif her another time... And when we completed it, WeiNi looked relieved... Haha... We went to the game stalls after that and i was rather addicted to the games there, especially the basketball one... I think i spent like hk$80 there, and won 3 prizes... I got WeiNi her cute dog which she wanted badly after she saw it... Haha... I was very happy when i manage to hit all the cans off the platform becoz i failed like quite a lot of times previously and was quite worried if i can't get her the cute dog, which is named ha pin to... After lunch, Sab,Mich n WeiNi tried the Abyss, which is a 60m freefall... Wah, the gals were really garang man... But they were rather pissed coz they kena squeezed and cut queued by an entire province of CHEENA people... I can't stand them too, like they have never seen a building before and were like super duper suaku... Worse still, they seriously lack basic courtesy... I feel ashamed tat i am a Chinese too... We tried Raging River next, and before the slope down, Adam was already wet coz both of us were like splashing water at each other in the boat... Haha... Very kok... After OceanPark, we went to Victoria Peak and Madam Tussads... Yay! I took a photo wif Beckham! HEe's exclusive lol.., muz pay $70 one... But it's worth it... hehe... And back at the hotel, since it was the last night, we played daidi till 4.30am! I think i was "sei"alrdy, and the rest said i was a little mad by then... Haha...
We did our last minute shopping on the last day before we had to say goodbye to HK... damn... i am already thinking about my next holiday le... Anyway, Adam and I are posted to SISPEC to become sergeants... Woohoo... Can become commanders... Great...But b4 we can get the rank, we muz go thru shit again... My buddies Alson and Junrong too... hope can be in the same company and platoon as them again... Haiz... 2mr need to go back le....
Adam! U r so lucky they found ur wallet...! Pls take care of ur things next time! Haha... Good night.... I am going back to tekong....Cya...
