All right, i am not supposed to be blogging right now, but well, who cares... Haha...
It's getting a little more interesting with my new job. Now, i am your friendly neighbourhood CPF Customer Service Agent! Any queries regarding your Progress Package, GST Offset Package, kindly call me coz i feel kinda hardworking 2day!
I still kinda miss my school kids, especially my adorable ones and not the brats. I wonder how many have flung their exams... Well, at least i got another tuition student through the canteen auntie... That's the good thing about talking to aunties... Always got lobang one... Haha...
The good thing about this job is when u feel bored, there will be some strange caller asking about funny stuff, and it really cracks me up at times... For example, there was an auntie who told me she dunnoe her IC's prefix, and that it looks like a 6. There was one who took 5 seconds to recall her birthday and i got 2 Hokkein customers so far... Hokkein is really a test sia... Coz my hokkein is not super zai... Haha... Half of the time, i oso dunnoe what the heck i was saying...
Haiz... And i realise that my Chinese really sucks... Whenever i speak to Chinese customers, u can imagine 3 big drops of sweat trickling down my forehead... I think the aunties and uncles were trying to understand me... Haha... For example, i dunnoe what's wen ming (refers to pple who can't read and write) and zhi gu ren shi(self-employed) And GST Offset Package and Workfare Bonus Scheme in Chinese sounds like a tongue-twister to me... Haha... Jialart... Perhaps this job will give me the opportunity to brush up my Chinese and Hokkein...
