It's been a week since my SMU life has started, and i would have to say that university life ain't simple... Perhaps i have not gotten into the mood of studying yet (Well, i bet all the guys who juz came out of army not too long ago will feel the same thing that i do), but the assignments on the 1st week is pretty much to me... I can't help but feel tired sometimes, especially with chapters of readings to be read prior to the actual lessons... Well, i will get used to it soon i guess... No mugging for me though. I would die!
The last time i heard homework was more than 2 and a half years ago... Sounded kinda alien to me when the prof said "homework to be handed in next week" Haha... Well, to be honest, i hated homework... Perhaps it was due to the trauma i had when we were in Pri 5/6, when my teacher then gave us mountains, i am not exaggerating, they are really mountains of homework... Corrections 50 times are a common sight in my bulging maths workbook... It kinda resemble more like a 1000page encyclopedia than a P5 workbook... Thank god those days are over... It's like a childhood trauma... Haha...
Met Tan Chee Peng last week at SMU! Surprised that he's actually a SMU student too! If i remembered correctly, he said something about Master Degree in Management or something... CCA bazaar was last Friday and i kinda thot i muz be real crazy to sign up for 4 CCAs! Perhaps it was on the spur of a moment, and compared to some crazy nutcases out there who apparently signed up for 10 CCAs, i am thankful i am considered sound... Anyway, i signed up for Soccer, Recreational Badminton, Japanese Cultural Club and BizCom (some business community thingy) Well, i will see how things go first... Anyway, there will definitely be a trial for soccer, so just in case i dun get in, i still have my badminton as a Sport CCA to fall back on... From what i heard, the soccer team trains at a far far away place... Sucks... In my mind, i am secretly hoping i wouldn't get in... But i will definitely do my best during the trial! That's what i call being me... Hahar...
