Okie... I have abandoned my blog for a week but i am back! School's starting next week and i would say i am least prepared for it. No stationery, or pencil case for that matter (I am still using my trusty Ribena pencil box though), laptop yet to be purchased, timetable (okie, i just got it today) and most importantly - mindset. I am kinda still in that holiday-working class mode. Nothing has sunk in that i would be trapped in lectures for the next 4 years, and the mountains of projects to climb. Well, i will take it as it comes! Gambatte! Oh, i have neglected my Jap for a month as well... Dame...
Went for the SMU Teambuilding camp last week. It was as bad as i thought. Turned out to be quite fun with a half-crazy bunch of OG-mates. Thank goodness i din get any unpleasant tent-mates. I got a Vietnamese guy, Indo-Chinese guy and a Singaporean! And 8 girls in my group. A total lack of manpower. First day as expected, everyone mostly kept to themselves, although some of us were a little chatty (Okie, i admit i am noisy la...) Well, since i was there, might as well make the most of it. And i was chosen to preform on Campfire night, which we eventually did a skit. 2nd day was really horrendous for the first part of the day. There was really no team spirit, some of us din give a damn about our activities, and our raft couldn't make it out to sea. Had a serious 1 hr debrief by our facilitator where everyone spoke of our frustrations and differences and things really took a turn for our subsequent activities. Everone became quite "on"! Hahar... And yar, i was like kinda designated as the cheerleader of the group although my cheers were hardly impressive. Well, who cares? Cheers to the group who can make the loudest voice anyway.
Camp ended with the final challenge on the last day! It was really fun and i would say it was the best day that i really saw my team working together as one. I was really proud of our team for that day. Oh yar! My team name? Bam Bam! Bam Bam rocks.
Went out with Vien-san yesterday to buy lotsa things! We bought a pair of running shoes for her, T-shirt and sweater for me! And a chair as well! And had dinner at her place! Vien-san, Xiao Xin's really cute eh. Haha... Ask her whether she miss kor kor anot, then i will go visit her again.... Haha...
